Throughout my writing, I tend to use personal experience in order to prove my point. My writing tends to be fragmented going into points for my argument and then personal experience to support them. There is not usually a devision between the two. As an intellectual, I find that it helps to draw support from personal experiences because it helps me grasp the topic I am arguing about better. It also helps me see the other side of the argument and how I may have had a different experience under different circumstances.
